Another GuitarViol meetup; a success!
Owner/operators meet up for Pizza, beverages, and sounds!
On a particularly hot Saturday (July 23, 2022) , some GuitarViol Owner/operators/friends cooled off at the Valencia GuitarViol Laboratory. From 2-6 we gathered. Long time GuitarViol players were pleasantly surprised at the feel and sound of the 10x! Good times!
Oops, we did it again! The TogaMan GuitarViol owner/operators/serious/curious meetups are becoming a “thing”. On this end, it means making best use of the shop space on Saturdays; sweeping up, striking a couple of island benches, throwing a couple pizzas on them and loading a galvanized bucket with ice/beverages. There is something about putting a bunch of smart talented people in the same room for a few hours and seeing what happens! It’s great seeing new friends being made in the process! (i.e lot’s of “call my iphone and I’ll add you to contacts” kind of thing). I found out that (after a few of these events) that people are wondering when the next one is! More to come! May be mixing up the format (open house, mixing in other artisans and fabricators!) stay tuned!
